Somebody can post from another account, make it look like a random page hit crazy slips off their picks, RT it, hype it up, and now everybody thinks it’s legit . Not just a random page suddenly acting like they discovered the next gambling genius. I’m not saying don’t give people credit. People here also need to stop falling for this thin, recycled bullshit every time a verified account posts a dramatic headline over an EU flag. The same people defending CEXs as if they were sacred decentralised infrastructure are defending companies that custody customer funds, control access, freeze accounts, choose listings, operate order books and profit from every trade. That is a financial intermediary, far closer to a bank or broker than to Bitcoin. You cannot demand mass adoption, institutional capital, fiat rails and centralised platforms, then suddenly demand complete regulatory immunity for the corporations making money from your assets. USDT is not being “banned on 1 July”, and Europeans are not suddenly prohibited from owning or using it. MiCA’s stablecoin provisions have applied since 30 June 2024. EU platforms were already instructed to stop offering non compliant stablecoins under the relevant conditions. The deadline on 1 July 2026 concerns the expiration of the transitional period for crypto service providers that still need MiCA authorisation. It is not a new USDT ban. MiCA regulates what licensed businesses may offer to EU customers. It does not delete USDT from blockchains, prohibit private ownership or criminalise self custody. Binance is a separate issue that is also being deliberately distorted. Its Greek MiCA application is reportedly expected to be rejected, but no final rejection has been formally announced. If Binance cannot meet the conditions required to operate in a regulated market, then losing access to EU clients would be a good step, not some tragedy for crypto. Europe is not banning CEXs. It is requiring centralised financial businesses to meet rules before taking custody of customer funds and selling services to millions of people. A lot of complete idiots know Binance and other CEXs are scams, yet the moment someone tries to stop them from operating without limits, suddenly that becomes the real problem. Crypto influencers spent years begging for adoption, institutions and legal certainty. Now that centralised companies are being treated like the financial institutions they actually are, the same idiots call it oppression. They do not want decentralisation. They want corporations to custody retail money, collect billions in fees and exercise enormous market power without meaningful oversight, while hiding behind language stolen from decentralised technology. I could keep going endlessly and dig much deeper into this, but I know 99% fewer people will read it than some “BREAKING: regulation is bad and you are about to lose everything” garbage.
