@lisntell @NafsikaSmith This has been such a great book to reflect on and discuss together. Now that we're nearly at the end I'm feeling slightly bereft already...

Very much looking forward to contributing to this training with the inspiring @lisntell. I believe there are still a few spaces available for SLTs and other professionals keen to bring storytelling practice into their work...

If you are a*teacher* or *carer* working with children/YP who are looked after or who stay in residential care - 🙏 complete this short anon survey for some colleagues at Edinburgh Uni. They are interested in factors affecting wellbeing and burnout... tinyurl.com/YPCareStudy

@WFarahslt I'm thinking about this more. Maybe agency is to do with attitude belief and personhood; whereas self advocacy is to do with experience, action and choice?

@WFarahslt Agency is about holding power-whether in loud/quiet ways. It is knowledge and celebration of self. It's about having a sense of rightness in one's path, and being able to hold boundaries secure. It's different to self advocacy- both are important concepts for SLTs to engage with.

I'm exploring the role of agency in the context of the classroom & how SLT's can support agency in schools. Would be interested to know peoples definitions of agency & any ideas?

This is a very nicely put together review of what Postural Care is and how it can influence individuals with a mobility impairment 24 hours a day. Thank you #PAMIS lnkd.in/d8KTDGdk

@Herring1967 I have had *exactly* the same thing...! Yestersay: Wordle 286 2/6 ⬜⬜⬜🟨🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Today: Wordle 287 2/6 🟩⬜⬜⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 I'm beginning to wonder if it is an elaborate April Fool's joke. @Herring1967 are you in on it? 🧐

Wordle 287 2/6 ⬜🟩⬜⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 2nd day in a row that I’ve snatched a 2 out of nothing, playing a word that I am convinced it can’t be. Spooky and unsatisfactory.

Such an interesting paper. Thanks @Occ4LifeLtd for drawing my attention to it. Now wondering about links between profanity, emotional literacy, and positive mental health outcomes. Particularly for populations (#AAC users?) where access to such language may be limited/withheld.
