Just reading the DWP response in our tribunal case wish I hadn’t before bedtime ! My child who is learning disabled , autistic , ADHD , dyspraxia , non verbal , anxiety , absent seizures ,extreme ARFID is a customer apparently !! How bloody dare they

Thanks @makedoandSEND we did get a reply a blanket one not a personal one we are never going there again , inclusions and accessibility for our children means the list of loved places usually is on repeat year after year this is firmly off , there was no understanding at all

My friend @BornAnxious2018 had a similar experience there at their Easter event, abelist rude volunteers with zero understanding of ND needs or equality. The reason why I'm tweeting this is after emailing them to complain, she never got a reply. So let's see if X works ... 💪

Super disappointed for @makedoandSEND that you encountered what we did at @VisitBrogdale on good Friday I did email a huge complaint and they sent me a blanket response to my non verbal autistic child being made to stand in the rain outside a barn because we hadn’t got bands on!

@VisitBrogdale had an off-road wheelchair we could borrow but... 1. The event didn't need to be held in a field (theirs usually aren't) 2. Had to push Lucy's wheelchair half a mile off road to get to the off road wheelchair! 3. Abelist unfriendly activity staff & really upsetting
