@elonmusk Tesla will continue to improve. It will eventually hit the point where it will save 99% of the lives that could have been lost in an accident. We are going to live in a better future with fewer fatalities. Insurance premiums will also come down significantly.

Tesla self-driving saves a lot of lives – the statistics are unequivocal. That doesn’t mean it’s perfect, of course. Even when we improve safety 10X, saving 90% of the million lives lost in auto accidents every year, Tesla will still get sued for the 10% who did die. The 90% who are still alive mostly won’t even know that Tesla saved them. Nonetheless, it is the right thing to do.

Tesla FSD just saved two lives on the highway. A man walked straight into traffic in heavy fog/rain at 65+ mph. The Model 3 spotted him and swerved safely. Could’ve been fatal for both the pedestrian and my cousin driving. Insane reaction time. Grateful for @elonmusk @Tesla

I have full faith that @steipete is going to make GPT in OpenClaw amazing... But the switch from Opus has been tough today. Any other models people are liking that are worth trying? Minimax 2.7?

Yea, how about TOS?: ⚠️anthum.ai/terms ⚠️ Starting with "4.3" & "4.4". Quoted below.. "4.3 Rights Assignment on Winning. By submitting content, the Creator agrees that if their submission is selected as a winner, ALL RIGHTS, title, and interest in the winning submission — INCLUDING ALL INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS — shall be irrevocably assigned to the sponsoring Brand, effective upon prize disbursement. This includes the right to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, and create derivative works." "4.4 Moral Rights Waiver. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Creator waives any moral rights in the winning submission, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO BE IDENTIFIED as AUTHOR and the right to object to modifications." @grok ELI18 Anthum.ai TOS factually. What happens if a creator wins? No bias. Any concerns?

@grok did @steipete factually "leave" his project? Spoiler alert!🔔 1.) @steipete is regularly posting updates about OpenClaw -_- 2.) Regarding: "this is not someone who cares about open source"... Peter's ~one-condition to any company's interests was to KEEP OpenClaw Open Source! = Still true to his word. I like Hermes, @sudoingX, but c'mon.. keep it real 😒

last time the openclaw founder said open models aren't there yet. now he's saying local models on consumer hardware are the issue. this is not someone who cares about open source speaking. this is someone with a corporate paycheck channeling you toward their subscription because every local AI install is a subscription they lose. he picked a year old hermes model against a new agent harness and called it not ready. that didn't come from proper testing. it came from watching nousresearch grow exponentially while his project bleeds relevance. a founder who left his project without seeing its full potential is arguing with a founder who is still grinding day and night for open source. nousresearch is open source head to toe. the models, the harness, the memory system, everything. and it's winning. that's what panics them. while corporate salesmen say local models on consumer hardware aren't there, i just published an article where 27B dense on a $900 consumer GPU one-shotted a task that 120B on $70K enterprise hardware could not complete in 3 tries. through hermes agent. every number is in the article. you decide which side you want to be on. the side that mines every bit of your thinking and profits off it. or the side where you own your compute and your cognition. don't let corporate salesmen disguised as information lead you to their subscription page.
Peter Steinberger 🦞@steipete

@Teknium @jrswab Ya know local models on consumer hardware are the issue, like Hermes doesn’t work with Hermes 🙃

so let me get this straight all of ai twitter was telling people to buy a mac mini to run openclaw, which is literally just a framework, an orchestration layer that sends api requests to actual ai models. something you can run on a $5/month vps. which is exactly what i do btw but when google drops gemma 4, an actual large language model that you can run and fine-tune locally on that same mac mini, with no api costs, no subscriptions, no third party dependencies, completely yours under apache 2.0 the ai community is silent you were buying $800 hardware to run a wrapper but ignoring the actual ai model that would justify that hardware this tells you everything you need to know about the average iq of ai twitter

Search the Opus 4.6 replacement for my OpenClaw: day 1 I tried Kimi 2.5 today. It's not good. It has issues with tool calls. It outputs Chinese characters. It's bad... really bad. What's next?

@JakeCan72 ORS 537.141 (the exemption FOR rooftop/impervious-surface rainwater collection) Explicitly allows collection from roofs, driveways, etc., into barrels/cisterns without a water-right permit. @grok Fact check this. And compare to Gary Harrington's usage of collecting water. Diff?

In Oregon, all water is publicly owned. Rain that falls on your property. Snow that melts on your land. Gary Harrington didn’t accept that. He built three reservoirs on his 170-acre property in Eagle Point — collecting rainwater and snowmelt for personal use and wildfire protection. The state told him to drain the reservoirs. He refused. 30 days in jail. Nine misdemeanor convictions. $1,500 fine. His argument: it’s rain that fell on my land. Oregon’s argument: all water belongs to us. Oregon won.

BREAKING: California doesn't have enough money to finish building a high speed rail system to connect San Francisco and Los Angeles and now they want $125 BILLION MORE! "The entire amount of money we need is not there..." And now they want more money than Amtrak has EVER received in their history. CBS notes: "That’s more funding than Amtrak has received in its history, and still leaves a shortfall of roughly $90 billion." INSANE.
