not fud, not a competition. just facts. you’ll never leave your echo chamber if this level of demand already breaks the experience. the “zombie” you’re talking about is doing $1b+ in rwas as an actual distribution layer, not just recordkeeping. tvl is up ~2x over the past year, dev activity is at an ath after rust based smart contracts shipped, and privacy is a real focus this year with the recent protocol upgrade. new apps are actively being built and used. it’s also used by orgs like unhcr for financial aid globally, has also much broader on/offramps globally, and processes a lot more payments. i use ethereum too when it makes sense. but pretending $74 swap fees are a feature while calling everything else “zombie mode” is just cope lol.

the network functions exactly as intended, high demands = high gas fees. people are willing to pay that much to have their txs included because their activities are more valuable. the normal gas price is less than a cent of course, the fud comes from a corpo chain in zombie mode.
