@LetAlbaFlourish @Grouse_Beater Blocked me too. Doesn’t seem to like to debate anymore if you disagree with him he immediately goes on the attack, insulting you & when you try to respond, discover that you’re already blocked…as he trounces off in a huff. Very disappointing but heyho.

As I’m blocked - @Grouse_Beater seems incapable of a civil conversation these days. What he thinks Ash or I have ever done to deserve that 🤷‍♀️. We’ve only ever tried to be friendly & helpful, even welcomed GB as a guest for lunch & got him tickets for Alex’s commemoration debate.

A Group of guys, all turning 40, discussed where they should meet for lunch... Finally, it was agreed that they would meet at Wetherspoons in Uxbridge because the waitresses had big breasts and wore mini-skirts. Ten years later, at age 50, the friends once again discussed where they should meet for lunch. Finally, it was agreed that they would meet at Wetherspoons in Uxbridge because the waitresses were attractive. The food and service were good, and the beer selection was excellent. Ten years later, at age 60, the friends again discussed where they should meet for lunch. Finally, it was agreed that they would meet at Wetherspoons in Uxbridge because there was plenty of parking, they could dine in peace and quiet with no loud music, and it was good value for money. Ten years later, at age 70, the friends discussed where they should meet for lunch. Finally, it was agreed that they would meet at Wetherspoons in Uxbridge because the restaurant was wheelchair accessible and had a toilet for the disabled. Ten years later, at age 80, the friends discussed where they should meet for lunch. Finally, it was agreed that they would meet at Wetherspoons in Uxbridge because they had never been there before.

To those who intended on voting Alba in May, I am sorry that you have been let down. This is a dark period for the independence movement, but the journey is far from over and it is one that we will continue to walk together, writes Christina Hendry ✍️

@HeatherMc1960 @LiberateScot This worries me…why does it always end up this way? I feel politically homeless right now, I’m 63 and have voted EVERY year I could, always left of centre, majority for Scottish Independence…this is the first year ever I am faced with the possibility of not voting 😱

If every SNP voter votes SNP/Greens, the BritNat representation in Holyrood will be absolutely decimated. That's not up for debate, it's just arithmetic. Forget which constituency you live in, just vote SNP/Greens to boot as many BritNats out of Holyrood as possible 🤷

THE FOUNDING PRINCIPLE OF ALLIANCE TO LIBERATE SCOTLAND- INDEPENDENCE NOTHING ELSE The Alliance to Liberate Scotland was founded with a very clear and deliberate purpose: to create a political vehicle focused on one objective alone, Scottish independence. From the beginning, it was agreed that the party itself would not take positions on wider policy questions. People across Scotland hold a wide range of views on social, economic, and constitutional matters, but the Alliance was designed to unite them around a single shared goal: restoring Scotland’s independence. No other criteria were applied beyond what the law requires. Recent candidate selections were considered on that same basis. The question before the vetting committee was simple: are these candidates committed to campaigning for independence and willing to stand under a banner that prioritises that objective above all else. Following discussion, the vetting committee voted and a majority supported their acceptance. In any democratic organisation there will be occasions where individuals disagree with the outcome of a vote. While it is always disappointing when colleagues decide they cannot continue after such decisions, the Alliance respects that choice and recognises the contribution made by those who helped bring the party to its current position. The principle on which the Alliance was founded remains unchanged. We exist to provide a broad, inclusive platform for people who may differ on many issues but who are united in the belief that Scotland should be an independent nation. Our focus now is exactly where it has always been, building the strongest possible movement to deliver independence for Scotland.

“Following discussion, the vetting committee voted and a majority supported their acceptance.” - this seems at odds with what I am reading 🧐
