@JimSpenceDundee Yes. I thought it was a pen for the elbow in the same incident, but the handball is undeniable. I’m old enough to remember Hearts getting a double ricochet handball penalty against Celtic in injury time in a Cup Semifinal. Beattie scored the winning spot kick. Hard candy happens.

Downing St will allow Swinney to ask them for Referendum. They will then give their predictable & predicted answer. Swinney is then trapped in his own cul-de-sac, unless he takes the obvious bold action. But Swinney isn't a Salmond willy tactician of bold action. Trapped?

Downing Street say they do not recognise the Scottish FM’s interpretation of the phone call. “The PM committed to meeting to discussed shared issues including the cost of living. “As the PM told the First Minister, the manifesto this government was elected on was unambiguous that ‘Labour does not support independence or another referendum’. “Our position remains unchanged.”
