@escapefrommelos Guy filming sounds hysterical. What’s up with that? You’d think he’d get used to it at some point

part of living in the third world is a hidden Gonzo Tax you send your furniture to be moved to your new apartment. something crazy might happen. you could up with everything you owned splashed across a rainy street. these things just happen.

@Empty_America Bar isn’t particularly hard - CA which is considered the “hardest” bar has a +80% (ballpark) pass rate if you only look at takers that went to accredited schools

It is funny (but not surprising) that the law largely exempted itself from the DEI era. I'm aware of no real exceptions or preferences on the bar exam, which is the literal "bar" to ever actually practicing. This of course is the credential held by many/most lawmakers.

“The LSAT/bar/law school finals don’t reflect the work you do every day as a lawyer.” Correct, but they do identify who has both the intelligence and ability to lock in.

I never understood the point of a wife beater undershirt. I need an extra layer between my underarms and my shirt — I don’t need by belly slightly warmer.

@GeringerAdam Camouflaged machines, scurrying about in silence. Very sinister. What are they up to when we’re not watching? No thanks

@number_pizza111 Any lawyer who tells you differently is a liar or an idiot. Probably a good heuristic for lawyers in general, come to think of it

I mentally lump my friends in Graduate/Law school together with my unemployed friends. I’ve seen no good evidence whatsoever that they’re separate groups.
