Et je vais vous dire pourquoi cette citation résonne avec tout ce que je défends sur ce compte depuis 5 semaines. Après avoir monté une boîte, embauché des gens, géré de l'infra, levé des fonds, et vu de l'intérieur comment les systèmes complexes fonctionnent, je suis devenu libertarien. Pas par idéologie. Par constat. L'humain, en moyenne, est fondamentalement trop limité cognitivement pour designer des systèmes complexes à grande échelle. C'est pas une insulte. C'est de la biologie. Notre cerveau a évolué pour gérer des tribus de 150 personnes. Passé quelques centaines de personnes, la capacité d'un individu ou d'un groupe à comprendre et piloter un système s'effondre. Les variables sont trop nombreuses. Les effets de second et troisième ordre sont impossibles à anticiper. Les boucles de feedback sont trop lentes. Et l'économie, ça se matérialise à l'échelle de millions, voire de milliards de personnes. Des milliards de décisions quotidiennes, des milliards d'interactions, des milliards de préférences qui changent en temps réel. Vouloir contrôler ça centralement c'est comme essayer de faire de la chirurgie sans comprendre la biologie. Tu ouvres, tu coupes des trucs, et tu pries pour que ça marche. Et ça marche jamais. Et à chaque fois que ça foire, au lieu de se dire "peut-être que je devrais pas opérer", le planificateur dit "il me faut un plus gros scalpel". C'est exactement ce que Hayek a formalisé il y a 80 ans : le problème de la connaissance. Aucun comité central, aussi brillant soit-il, ne peut agréger l'information que le système de prix agrège instantanément et gratuitement via des milliards de transactions libres. Et c'est là que la citation de Dario devient vertigineuse. L'IA est en train d'approcher le niveau d'intelligence humaine. Mais l'IA n'a pas l'ego qui empêche de reconnaître ses limites. L'IA ne se prend pas pour un planificateur omniscient. L'IA optimise, elle ne planifie pas. Elle traite de l'information, elle ne prétend pas la contrôler. Toute personne qui met son ego de côté sur ces sujets-là finit par comprendre que le libéralisme économique c'est pas une idéologie. C'est juste la compréhension profonde et honnête que l'humain est fondamentalement trop limité pour piloter des systèmes de cette complexité. Et que le meilleur système c'est celui qui émerge organiquement de la liberté, pas celui qu'un bureaucrate dessine sur un PowerPoint. Le libéralisme c'est de l'humilité. Le socialisme c'est de l'arrogance. Et l'IA va rendre cette différence aveuglante.
