Excitement alone will not see President Ramaphosa impeached. If the numbers are not numbering, nothing will happen. The most sober thing to do is to await the Constitutional Court judgment although I wouldn't hold my breath. The only way out would be resignation BUT with the DA in his corner, Cyril is almost untouchable. Whatever the evidence and inferences which can be drawn, others will fall on their swords, but he shall remain protected with the Phala Phala saga, circumstantial evidence of wrongdoing notwithstanding, viewed by his blind loyalists, as nothing but a figment of Arthur Fraser's imagination. That this report was classified is more indicative of a clear attempt at a cover-up then would've been the case had they made it available. The bare denials now sound hollower than they would've been.

I am waiting for @MbalulaFikile and @helenzille to comment about the IPID on Phalaphala Farmgate Dollar Scandal. It is time for Ramaphosa to be hold accountable and responsible for his criminality and corruption. At last our prayers as the nation has been answered.

@NewtermFirepool Exactly. Classifying the report was as unnecessary as releasing it. The fuss over hiding and then unsealing it is a circus and a pointless exercise.

🎈‼️🔥 The reasons why the Phalaphala IPID Report is Useless: 1. IPID did NOT investigate President Cyril Ramaphosa criminally. 2. Cyril Ramaphosa is mentioned as the complainant of the theft (victim) 3. Only 2 people are criminally implicated. Against Rhoode (primary) Against Rekhoto (supporting role) And the.........End!!!!

@thisEssence @ST_Vinc3nt @elonmusk More than 5000 rural schools can't get internet, as there is no infrastructure that connects them to current grids. Imagine the increase in educational means for those 5000 schools. They will only get connected in 25yrs at the current rate.

@thisEssence @ST_Vinc3nt @elonmusk There are still 25% of SA not connected. The current service providers estimate they will only service them in 25yrs+, as they need ground infrastructure. And it's expensive for a few users. Starlink is the bridge for that gap. It does not work well in high density areas.

I went to the licensing department today and gave them my green ID book as identification. That lady looked at me with a confused expression and proceeded to tell me they don’t take those anymore. I had to go make a copy of my Smart ID 🥺

@ST_Vinc3nt @elonmusk All these companies got a license to operate based on investments not ownership. Elon offered the same investments by giving 2500 schools free internet. The ANC denied it, and wanted ownership only. Read a book...

@ZungulaVuyo The Constitutional Court will most probably recommend for Parliament to develop regulations on similar matters, because there is clearly no law which the President broke ,safe to say only the law in the heads of those who want to see his head roll.

[WATCH] Suspended TMPD Deputy Chief Umashi Dhlamini says the people who "name-dropped” the EFF with regard to tenders at the municipality are known to him as ANC members. "The last time I knew them, they were ANC members. I'm not sure whether they moved. That’s what puzzled me." #MadlangaCommission

@SizweMpofuWalsh Going with this summary, nowhere does it implicate the Buffalo directly, and legally at that time he was not responsible for the daily operations at the farm, and is not his primary residence. I can’t see how they will stick it to him

I’ll be releasing a full video on the declassified IPID Phala Phala report tonight. In short, this is very serious for the president and those who tried to protect him. Opposition parties should consider a motion of no confidence.

@_Tee__G The fact that ANC and EFF are forcing these people on us is very clear that they are birds of the sme feather and all have a common goal which is to destroy South Africa. We can say Cyril and Malema are just protecting them but not look at why they are doing that ANC and EFF 🤬

A Nigerian man was caught with a fraudulent identity card and was asked to write down and spell his South African name on the ID. He was unable to do that. The funny part is he arrogantly continued to say he’s a South African. Nigerians, where do you guys take the audacity from?

In rural areas of SA, there are many foreign nationals. I’m simply speaking from what I have personally seen and experienced; there is peace. I have never heard or witnessed serious complaints from people. Sometimes I honestly wonder whether the loud complaints we see about foreign nationals exist more on social media than in real communities. People are co-existing and working together. Local South Africans rent out shops to foreign nationals, and at the same time, they are also their customers. It’s a mutual relationship. There are also many other businesses run by foreign nationals. Some run barbershops, others braid hair, and they are good at what they do. Local people also run their own businesses successfully. There is no sense of competition that leads to conflict; people simply support services that work for them. Zimbabweans in most areas are known for their skills. Many are builders, mechanics, or technicians fixing fridges and cars. In fact, many locals prefer working with them because of their strong work ethic and reliability. I’m not denying that there may be individuals involved in crime; that can happen in any community, whether local or foreign. But when it does happen, it should be reported to the police. Crime must be dealt with as crime, not used to generalize entire groups of people. My point is simple: in most rural areas there is peaceful coexistence. People are working, building families, and supporting each other. So sometimes, it becomes difficult to fully understand the widespread anger we see online when it does not reflect the reality on the ground.
