Several domestic airlines have raised ticket prices, while some have introduced temporary surcharges to manage operational costs. Back in 1996/ 97, listeners in my community Atlantis, would come and drop their handwritten "dedications" at the station, Radio Atlantis FM. Then they'd do the mighty dash home to hear it being read out on air LIVE. Radio is rich with beautiful stories. ❤️

I’m seeing numerous radio presenters using the TikTok Live feature. It’s interesting how radio is evolving. 100 years ago, listeners sent thousands of letters to stations for song requests, even visiting in person.

Morocco won 1976 AFCON despite walking out in final game, claims ex-CAF disciplinary panel chair Raymond Hack, former president of the CAF Disciplinary Board, has claimed that the Morocco national team staged a walkout in the final of the 1976 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), which the country eventually won. Hack, who served in numerous roles across CAF’s legal body, made the claim in a chat with Robert Marawa on Wednesday. That translator isn’t good actually. Adv Chaskalson’s questions would also end up missing critical detail, such as when he asked “was there a legitimate reason…”. Translation was “was there a reason…”. That kind of thing happened numerous times.
