@PacerClara Under BR the role of thumb was that 5 vehicles was the break point where loco haulage is cheaper. When I worked for Porterbrook I updated the calculation and got just over 5, so in event 6. But it is not as simple as that, operational convenience and reliability apply as well.

Right I have an entirely unresearched theory that may be completely wrong but I want to put it out there and you can yell at me if you want. Loco hauled passenger trains are now pretty rare in the UK, but are seemingly still *somewhat* common in mainland Europe. [1/]

Woah. Millions of cars can be hacked just by knowing the license plate number. This is done through a simple web app bug too, no complicated car hacking involved. I also don't think it's fixed yet... 🧵

If you really want to pull people in at Innotrans you need seats, the ultimate object of desire.
