Dusted off an old Android phone and joined it to my tailnet. Installed @termux (+API), added SSH keys, tweaked process killing behavior… and now I can remotely control it! Next: Tasker. Kudos to @marshallrichrds for showing what’s possible!

i accidentally discovered one of the coolest features on the internet the Wikipedia app has a "nearby" feature that shows wikipedia articles around your location! i opened it and instantly fell into a rabbit hole of random places, local history and weird things around me try it and tell me what shows up near you

Whenever I clean my Mac keyboard, I end up opening random things or shortcuts. just vibe coded smth with Claude. built MacWipe :) a tiny cleaning mode for macOS. Disables the keyboard & trackpad, wipe your screen without triggering anything. Hold ESC to exit. link in Thread🧵

This is probably best fixed with BLE proximity enforcement: if you are reachable via Bluetooth, then you're allowed in. Of course, this comes at the cost of extra engineering and user friction...

The sad truth is that there's no cheap way to solve this. If this particular geofence was actually validated server side, you could probably spoof the location using overrides (DevTools > Sensors). The apartment location is public info, so you'd know exactly the coords to feed.
