@parsons_EB @DaneMooreNBA Players man. Finch’s whole message since he got here is flow offense. Which is attacking and ball movement. You can see the life come out of him every possession with a no paint touch jumper.

@DaneMooreNBA Do you think it's Finch or the players that don't understand the concept of attacking the rim? The amount of settling for 3s or long jumpers is insane. 33 points against a "terrible defense"?

No Wolves starter has more than 4 points, but Ayo Dosunmu, who was the Wolves leading scorer in Game with 25, has 12 here midway through the 2nd.
No one buys into the attack the rim against Denver mindset more than Dosunmu.

@DaneMooreNBA Settling for jumpers before a paint touch and lacking ball movement. I can see why finch is aging. They know how to attack Denver but are refusing to do it

@CDavidE216 @JonesOnTheNBA I think it is fair to think living in constant surveillance isn’t the best thing. Life before fear of being filmed at all times just seems like an objectively better world. But we are too far gone

Great! People think because they have a smart phone it entitles them to violate people’s privacy, film them without their permission, and upload them to social media for ridicule. We need to make laws and shame people for this type of behavior!

Dyson Daniels tonight was otherwordly on defense, as a rebounder and as a passer and playmaker. That was ridiculous. Just made Brunson's life utterly miserable. Haven't seen anyone guard Brunson like he did in quite a while.

@gregpeterjosep @JaceFrederick This is only a blocking foul in the NBA since about 2020. College, FIBA, high school middle school it’s an offensive foul. And was in the NBA til around 2020.

@JaceFrederick A majority of people don’t get blocking fouls. You can have arguments on if the rule is written to softly but this has been a defensive foul for a long time

There are other times where someone actually maintains good defensive positioning on SGA and gets dislodged from it by the off arm
this one Gillespie gets beat and takes an illegal angle to cut off

@terryjt1 @TGrayTruther That ball was like a golf chip it was so high, it wasn’t going anywhere. He dives and misses and it’s still gonna only be a couple steps away from him after bouncing and rolling. Alvarez would’ve scored but that’s worth the risk every single time.

@cord741 @RealGarrettCarr @SethDavisHoops Regular season effort is high. Watching games from past eras and guys walk the ball up the court and don’t have to close out on shooters at all. Rules, pace and shooting have inflated scores. Not lack of effort

@RealGarrettCarr @SethDavisHoops Playoff defense is fine, but the majority of the regular season is nowhere near the same effort. It makes it hard to pick up a sport where I only watch for the playoffs.

@MFtweets25old @SethDavisHoops I agree with your points except for effort. It’s round one and guys have to run more than they ever have before and are keeling over by the end of some of these games. Even regular season effort now is better than most eras. Rules, shooting and pace inflate the scores

@SethDavisHoops Flipping, traveling, initiating contact to draw fouls as primary source of scoring, not trying for 3 quarters, and whining has killed the NBA

@MNJunkie95 @_the_real_balla He was playing so shallow and still didn’t make the play. Good jump and he catches it standing and even with that late jump a dive might get there. Just feel like you have to go for it in that spot
