1/7 Try our new app for optimizing transgenes for C. elegans expression (wormbuilder.org/transgenebuild…). The app uses algorithms from collaborators Henrik Bringmann (TU Dresden) and Dan Dickinson (UT Austin) - or codons from highly expressed ubiquitous genes.

@wormbuilder Good to know! We don't have to make germ line expression constructs that often, but when we do I'm always trying to wrack my brain to remember all of the optimizations worth doing and was hoping this could be a one stop shop for that :-)

@ShahLabUCLA Thanks Shah! We find that Dan's algorithm does really well if we combine with removing piRNAs. We didn't specifically add PATC introns (because they don't synthesize well) but we can add short introns with Golden-gate acceptor sites, if it's useful?
