Si beh l’accordo prevede anche l’abolizione delle barriere al commercio di svariati minerali critici e dell’Uranio, di cui l’Australia ha le più grandi riserve accertate pur essendo solo il terzo produttore, però anche il fatto del Prosecco è importante.

As you know then there are elections coming up in Slovakia 29.02 and it is of key importance to us that the coalition there would continue. I understand it may sound strange coming from Hungarian conservatives but we are hoping for social democrats since they are the only rational force in Slovak political landscape and the only ones who are acting without foreign interference. All others are basically funded by Soros. If the opposition wins then it would be a tragedy for the Central European cooperation. It is also important that the speaker Danko’s Slovak National Party would cross the 5% threshold. We hope they manage it but the only hope for the coalition to continue is when the ruling party wins elections. The prime minister Pellegrini was here yesterday and he told us that if your prime minister would host him even for half an hour it would be of great help for winning the elections. He told us it is way more important for their society than a visit to Washington. So he asked us to ask you, and we also want to ask it ourselves, if such thing could be organized that your PM would host Slovak PM in Moscow somewhere in February... Russian FM Lavrov: It’s quite a plea but I’ll pass it on to PM. Hungarian FM Szijjártó: I understand. It would be great if you’d manage to organize it. Pellegrini asked for our help in that regard since he knows we have good relations and that our presidents also have good personal relations. And he trusted us in this matter. And let me emphasize it once more how important it is for us that the coalition in Slovakia continues. @a_libutti Il mercato unico dello Spazio Economico Europeo ha come condizione anche quella di accettare tutte le 4 libertà fondamentali oltre a pagare il contributo all’UE, in pratica come fanno già paesi come Norvegia o Islanda. In pratica vuol dire rientrare in UE ma senza voto.

The EP is elected directly by all EU citizens, and the EC is constituted by all EU heads of government, who are democratically elected.

The US just told the EU: take our trade deal as-is, or lose access to our gas.
Ambassador Puzder’s message to Brussels was blunt. Ratify the framework without amendments. Or face higher tariffs and the end of favourable LNG terms.
The deal already commits Europe to buying $250 billion a year in US energy. Analysts say the target is physically impossible to meet. Europe can’t legally force private refineries to buy American. So Washington is threatening Europe over a deal Europe can’t fully deliver on.
Brussels responded by asking the US to honour its own commitments, calling the current situation not conducive to “fair, balanced, and mutually beneficial” trade.

Il veto di Orban contro i 90 miliardi promessi dalla Ue a Kiev (che in precedenza aveva accettato) è la rappresentazione tattica della fragilità europea e di quanto sia intollerabile l’attuale assetto. C’è bisogno di un’iniziata clamorosa per dimostrare che chi è nella Ue per prendere contributi e basta, non può starci. E tantomeno può svolgere un ruolo di quinta colonna del nemico (Putin). In sintesi Orban deve sapere che dall’Europa si può anche essere cacciati
