The Highway Code is clear. Pass a horse at 10MPH with a 2 metre distance. Some choose to ignore this rule. To make our roads safer for all, we conducted #OpClosePass to educate, & prosecute, those who ignore the rule. One driver passed our horses at over 50MPH - see you in court.

@JeremyVineOn5 to add there are times when cycling in a central position is needed for safety, but this is not constantly the case. Each road user should be made to be responsible for each others safety and come down hard on those who are inconsiderate or dangerous.

@JeremyVineOn5 to say cyclists shouldn’t wear hi-viz is ludicrous! As a cyclist & horse rider it’s our responsibility to be seen we’re not as visible as a car, van etc. Cycling in central pos, increases traffic which can in turn affect emergency services already facing congestion

@vonrummer @kirstiealley I fully respect trans, gay, bi, straight etc. I don’t however think, that the amazing things only the female body can do, need to be inclusive, they are in fact exclusive to a female body, and the female body should be respected and marvelled for the amazing wonder that it is.

@kirstiealley I was born biologically female and identify as such now. I have given birth and nursed 4 children. How does including others who identify differently “degrade” my experience? Just as same sex couples marrying in no way degrades my marriage. How is inclusivity insane???

I’m a little tired of the degrading and nullifying of women and their abilities. Breastfeeding is one of our abilities. It’s a beautiful and important ability. Knock off the nullifying of women fir the sake of lunatics. Equal rights does not equal insanity.

@BlindDad_Uk @Kika_GuideDog Absolutely shocking, the owner needs reporting for being an irresponsible owner, if he can’t control his dog or be close enough to stop his dog behaving dangerously then he should have kept the lead on. That is to close to the head and potential for serious injury.

This is why it’s so important to keep your dogs under close control. On today’s walk with @Kika_GuideDog we stopped at a park so that the little one could walk with her toddler harness on. A dog then ran over to us, ripped the hat off her head & pulled me to the ground too.
