Both have further committed to fully cooperate with law enforcement authorities and to subject themselves to all applicable legal processes. The two men remain in police custody on charges relating to the contravention of the Firearms Control Act, including the illegal possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition, as well as being found in possession of a hijacked motor vehicle. Police investigations are continuing.

Breaking news Two Men Arrested in Connection with Viral Video of Women Recklessly Handling Firearms SAPS have arrested two men, aged 21 and 34, linked to a widely circulated social media video showing women irresponsibly handling unlicensed firearms. The men were taken into custody after authorities connected them to the firearms visible in the video. Both the guns and ammunition were unlicensed, in violation of the Firearms Control Act. The suspects were also found in possession of a hijacked vehicle. The suspects are expected to appear in the Tembisa Magistrate's Court next week. Police investigations are ongoing, with efforts underway to identify and trace the women seen in the video recklessly pointing and handling the firearms. Authorities have not released the identities of the arrested men or further details on the hijacked vehicle at this stage.
