After an incredible run, my time at Dapper Labs and NBA Top Shot has come to an end.
This wasn't just a job. It was something I poured my heart and soul into, and I'm walking away with friendships and memories I'll carry for life. I'm proud of everything I accomplished, and I'll be supporting the good people on the team from the sidelines.
I want to give a special thanks to the Top Shot community. There's nothing like it, and I know I'll see many of you again.
What's next for me? I'll take a moment to reflect, explore, and shoot again into something that excites me!

5 years ago, someone paid $2.3k for a Prizm base gold LeBron James… with zero utility whatsoever.
People convinced themselves it was a great buy and would only go up. Then the NFT market cooled off for a while.
Late last year that same Lebron James sold for $23,000. Other LBJ cards aged even better.
Some NFTs are just built different.

People convinced themselves it would unlock: Rewards Yield/income Other special utility Turns out it was just a trophy, and ended up doing nothing. Now it’s worth ~$100. There was really a time when people were willing to risk 7 figures on a mystery NFT, and people thought it made sense. We'll never see anything like this again 😭

Panini has been focusing on releases for licenses they have like NFL, WNBA, NASCAR, and FIFA. You 100% own any existing NFTs.

4.5 years ago I began collecting fully-licensed sports card #NFTs on @PaniniAmerica’s blockchain.
Today I have:
27,311 cards
653 unopened packs
3,314 active offers totaling $108,126
If I accepted every offer, I’d still have 24,000 NFTs.
The scale of this ecosystem is massive.
