Thanks Meow! This was the first time I ever scored anything and it felt a lot like editing video and matching sound with images is art itself! Transitions and visuals come together make feelings. In my post I referenced the golden voyager record, so all of those sounds were used in this film as an homage to past space missions that brought humanity together. The whole concept is to travel with people and songs from their cultures. I remixed the sound score to match and cut up the animal and human sounds to create more connection too to what’s in the frame

The more and more I listen to Matt & John talk about the creation of Meebits it reinforces what we all know to be true. Meebits are art. Just enough detail to look refined but just vague enough to let your imagination have some fun.
