@IamBillyJenkins @davidmcw I’m working in Spain now since last July. No lockdowns, bars and restaurants open (until 6pm). I play tennis and golf every week and do a full days remote work.

@davidmcw It will be interesting to see what happens with the skilled remote workers now. I am looking to get out of here. Spain will give you a 25% tax rate if you transfer your job over there. If we are to go back into restrictions after the summer I would prefer to be somewhere else.

Wondering will be this how this all ends, with people whose livelihoods have been destroyed, whose businesses built up over lifetimes were ordered to close, who have "skin in the game", just say, we've done our bit, we've shut down, we don't get paid come-what-may & that's it👇

@njbennett @indepdubnrth @tonyholohans No there haven’t been. Check the national mortality rates for the last 5 years in Ireland. Deaths this year are actually slightly less than last year.

@indepdubnrth @tonyholohans It’d be interesting to see some comparative excess deaths data for 2020.
Deaths always tend to peak in December and January anyway, but I wonder if there have been more excess deaths this year than normal.
