I was once at Dublin airport and noticed someone struggling with the screen on the self-tagging machine at check-in. I won't name him, but he held a Nobel Prize in Economics.
BA rolled back on this daft idea at LHR. At some point, when you arrive at an airport, you want a human being to say "Right, you're good to go."

Whoever decided self check-in and bag tagging for biz class was a good idea should be shot. Employing huge swathes of staff to train customers how to do their jobs is inexcusable in the hospitality industry. Management consultant thinking is poison

@IrishTimes .@davidmcw ignores the endless number of hotels being built in some cities especially Dublin. Our cities now seem to only exist for tourists, residents are being pushed out. The plan to regenerate Dublin will make no difference.

One of great virtues of football as a sport was that it mimicked life: it is a game with few points (goals), they are often scored by a worse or simply luckier team, and injustice is rampant. And because injustice is rampant everyone can complain to be a victim of something and not feel inferior when losing a game.

We pronounce it exactly as it is written - dobAr dan. The principles is ‘Write as you speak, read as it is written’.
The ‘dobEr’ is used in the North Slavic countries like Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, etc.
