Yesterday @MDX_BusAndLaw promoted me from Senior Lecturer to Associate Professor in Criminology. Thank you to all those who supported my application and mentored me to achieve this position.

My delightful news of the day…..developing Biological/ Evolutionary Anthropology at Kent has been the cornerstone to my entire career, so this really, really hurts.

My university is proposing that from now on research should only form 10% of our workload. So glad to know that senior management think doing research is some kind of optional extra for academics, bet that will really pay off in the next REF
