I’ve documented countless disruptions at events but have never tried to disrupt one myself, nor colluded with disrupters. Organizer Joel Harden exercised petty tyranny by denying me entry to Avi Lewis’ NDP leadership campaign event, which was advertised as “everyone is welcome.” The only risk I pose is observing what the candidate does not want seen, whatever the reason. It is cowardly to hide behind accusations of “harassment” and “disrespect” when what’s really meant is persistence in asking questions to inform the public about matters of public interest. This is a private venue, so the legal right to ask me to leave is not in question. But for a publicly advertised campaign event, the lack of transparency is deeply concerning. 📸 Mar 9, 2026 #Hamilton #ProtestMania Support the kind of independent coverage politicians would rather avoid: ProtestMania.com

Hey John, remember when you kicked @Dallas_Brodie out of your caucus for saying exactly the same thing ? Because I totally remember that
John Rustad@JohnRustad4BC

Canadians were told there were 215 graves. The country lowered the national flag for months. Churches were burned. International headlines declared the discovery of mass graves at a former residential school. The federal government responded by allocating $12.1 million in taxpayer funding specifically to support investigation and exhumation work to verify those claims. Now we learn that no remains have been exhumed. At the same time, the Department of Crown-Indigenous Relations has released the activity reports tied to that funding, but every meaningful detail has been redacted. The reports describing what work was carried out, what investigations were conducted, and how public money was spent have been blacked out and labelled confidential. That is unacceptable. When the federal government spends millions of your taxpayer dollars to investigate a claim that shook the entire country, Canadians have a right to transparency. They have a right to know what work was performed, what evidence was found, and how their money was used. This is not about denying history. It is not about attacking Indigenous communities. It is about basic public accountability. If the government funded an investigation, the public deserves to see the results of that investigation. Let me be clear : The records should be released in full. The spending should be explained clearly. Canadians deserve the truth about what was done with their money. And if that money was not spent for the purpose it was granted for, then the public deserves accountability, including repayment of those funds. #cdnpoli #bcpoli

Once again, the heckler's veto has prevailed, as a publicly-funded theatre bows to pressure and cancels a sold-out comedy show by @BenBankas. The right of the audience to hear this comedian has been infringed too. The general rule in a free society should be, if it's not your kind of humour (or panel or speaker), then don't go. The disgruntled, censorious or easily-offended should not get to decide for everyone else.

Yesterday, I finished the most difficult piece of writing I've ever attempted: a paper on trans as an extreme overvalued belief. Then I recorded this. It's different to all my other interviews. I feel I finally managed to explain my new diagnostic framing youtu.be/jQJesDu7TgY?si…

Here’s the entire interaction in one clip. Before she threatens to k*ll me, I asked her a series of questions: 1. At what age is a girl mature enough to have top surgery? 2. How did you feel about your body changing as you were going through puberty? 3. Do you think it’s hatred to tell girls they can be healthy and whole? 4. Do you know any transgender children? 5. Do you have a transgender child? 6. And how did they know they were transgender? 7. At what age did you know you were a c-i-s woman? 8. And why did your child think they were transgender? 9. Does your child go to a public school in California? 10. Did they learn there could be 13 gender identities? 11. How much money does a surgeon make off of giving a girl top surgery? 12. Do you think your transgender child might one day have top surgery and a phalloplasty? 13. Is that something you would allow them to have? This was last Saturday at the @CA_Dem Democratic Party convention in San Francisco.

To any future historians reading this, this era will make a lot more sense if you remember that every name is the opposite of what it really is. The antifascists are fascists, the antiracists are racists, the fact-checkers are propagandists, etc. Hopefully this has been fixed by your time.

Thanks to @junonewscom, I'm able to uncover what school boards are spending your taxpayer money on. Freedom of information requests arent cheap and boards rely on the fact that most people can't afford them to keep the gravy train going. If you value me bringing you the receipts straight from the source, please consider subscribing and reading my work.
Melanie Bennet@realfinkledusty

1/ This has to be the strangest discovery yet in the last 10 months of collecting invoices from school boards. An Indigenous artist was paid over $570k in just over two years for a various things including a cultural camp, murals, language classes, books, and ceremonies. The board -- @DPCDSBSchools -- is currently under provincial supervision for financial mismanagement.

Lawyers across Ontario are being subjected to compulsory ideological training imposed by the Law Society. This affects the independence of the legal profession and raises serious concerns about freedom of conscience. If you are a lawyer, or know someone who is, take action today by completing and sharing our pre-written campaign letter. It only takes a minute, and it sends a clear message that compulsory ideology has no place in the legal profession. jccf.ca/ontario/
Ryan O'Connor@rpoconnor

Under penalty of suspension, the Law Society of Ontario just imposed on 61,000+ lawyers an obligation to take a 6 hour Indigenous course (based on the Seven Grandfather Teachings) which will teach us about land acknowledgments and colonisation while attacking federal legislation

There's nothing in the Charter that mandates the existence of human rights tribunals. Getting rid of them would not "legalize discrimination" you buffoon. Courts are equipped to remedy rights infringements. We don't need an extrajudicial body staffed by leftist lunatic activists
Ravi Kahlon@KahlonRav

Honestly shocked. The BC Conservatives just voted to legalize discrimination based on race, sex and other characteristics. They have voted to stop other bills at first reading during this parliament, but not this one.

The Law Society of Ontario voted 26 to 23 today (2 abstained) to require all lawyers to take six hours of Indigenous cultural training or lose our licenses. I'm opposed. This training is ideologically-motivated, and I've already taken similar training. lso.ca/news-events/ne…
