@pradeeban yeah some people were lucky enough to get 100% tuition fee waivers for their MSc, it's not so common. yeah I had enough saved, Finland is an expensive country but we are quite good for students. it's when you are no longer a student that shit hits the fan lol

@CheTweetZ Tuition fee waiver helps a lot. Also looks like you had enough saving to cover the life expenses. Loans with interest easily add up.

If you are planning to go for grad school abroad in a more expensive country/city (compared to your home country) without a scholarship, please consider whether you can afford it or will you need to take loans. If you couldn't stay in that country to work after graduation, (1/3)

@pradeeban one reason I chose Finland for my MSc is because it was tuition free for everyone back then. so I could use the money I had saved up for rent and all (definitely would not have been enough if I had to pay tuition too). didn't have to take a loan or ask my parents to pay for me.

Education is beautiful. Grad school gives us broader opportunities. Living a student life abroad feels like true independence. But you need to make sure that dream won't put you into financial cuffs for years to come. Especially when you already have a stable job back home. (3/3)

a relative called my mother recently and said 'they are talking about legalizing all this gay stuff in Sri Lanka ne? aiyo'
she lives in Australia and is an Australian citizen. Homosexuality was decriminalized in her state before she moved there😅the irony

I recently flew @united after many years and was pleasantly surprised. great experience from start to finish. happy to see so much improvement, looking forward to more flights in the future

🔴 @united just gave employees a first look inside their new 787-9 and honestly, the photos are pretty striking. This is the first plane built under the 'United Elevated' banner, and the cabin split tells the story: 64 Polaris business seats (including 8 Polaris Studio suites), 35 premium economy, and 123 in coach. That's 16 more J seats and 14 more PE seats than before. There's a self-serve snack bar, big seatback screens in economy, and Starlink baked in from the start of delivery. No retrofitting older planes, this is new-build only, with 30 aircraft expected by 2027. #UnitedAirlines #Boeing787 #aviation

Went hiking in Cinque Terre with my boyfriend who is an avid hiker (I am not). I was really tired one evening and here he is… carrying my bag as well, so that we can continue at the same pace ❤️ I love this man
