@hbtCHIEFS why not take a flyer on him? There is a reason he was a 1st round draft pick. He has the talent. Worse case scenario is this creates more competition.

Doesn’t hurt anything at all either. Who’s better than developing CB’s than Dave Merritt? If he doesn’t make the roster, he doesn’t make the roster. However, it’s worth the experiment imo as a former first rounder who’s still only 24 years old
