They signed Nico Gonzalez for £65m in 2025 January window just because Rodri got injured, he wasn’t good enough, and they binned him.
They signed Reijnders last summer for £70m, used him for a few games, he wasn’t good enough, they binned him instantly.
Now they’re about to sign Elliot Anderson for £100m.
That’s close to £250m spent on a single position in the space of a year, no other club has that kind of financial luxury.
This is what Arsenal are up against, financial cheats with endless pool of blood money. All their trophies are asterisked in my eyes.

If you can’t get Enrique, Naglesmann, Ancelotti, Tuchel then you get a Xavi or a Iraola. Quality coaches who have track records of serving up good football. You don’t give the job to a bloke who was sacked by Middlesbrough and has us playing some of the worst football in the PL.

@MarkSau23333740 @AndyMitten @TheAthleticFC But we’ll be playing 2 games a week most of the season so it’s realistic he’ll play weekly. Plus all it takes is 1 injury and he basically picks himself.
I also think Yoro needs some development and requires an experienced head next to him, so that also limits options.

This is my point, H (to his credit) doesnt want to be just a body, he wants to start regularly. So if he does sign a new deal, I feel as though this will be a promise he will have been given. That is what In questioning. Feels financial rather than sporting

Also, Europe is going to hit this squad like a tonne of bricks next season - we need bodies.
