@ebay The best part about social media is that it gives people a voice. I don’t have to waste my time fighting through automated phone systems and endless customer service runarounds. I can speak directly to the people who buy and sell on eBay. The more people hear about the scams that eBay allows to happen and the lack of meaningful investigation when buyers or sellers are wronged, the more they’ll realize that the platform is becoming a safe haven for scammers instead of the honest people who keep it in business. Protecting bad actors doesn’t build trust. It destroys it.

@eBay Beware of a scam that some eBay sellers may be using. The seller creates two shipments. One is addressed to an incorrect or vacant address, while the other is sent to your actual address with the item you purchased. You end up being charged for both shipments. When you dispute the extra charge, eBay simply sees that both tracking numbers show “delivered.” Even if UPS confirms that one tracking number was addressed to the address I say I live at…that is not the shipping address on my eBay account, eBay refuses to investigate further. Like having the seller provide a copy of the original shipping label or contacting the shipper to verify the accurate address is the one on my account that it was delivered to. The seller is the only one who can provide the original shipping label, and if they aren’t required provide it, so, you’re left with no way to prove the shipment wasn’t actually sent to your address. The result is that you can end up paying for a bogus shipment that never came to your home, while the legitimate package arrives separately and you’re charged again. Because according to eBay, both were delivered. What a scam. Be sure to check every tracking number, verify the delivery address with the carrier, and don’t assume a “Delivered” status means the package was actually sent to your address. I hate eBay their Customer Service is the worst when it comes to Byers

I think Bruce Springsteen has always been overrated. I never cared for his music, even back in high school in the ‘70s. If he had to audition on a show like American Idol today, I’m not convinced he would’ve made the cut. To me, he was a product of being in the right place at the right time. The music scene back then was different, and plenty of artists I never thought were especially talented became huge stars. Springsteen just happens to be one of them, in my opinion.
