@kf0rfj9449 Hi Nara,
Thanks for the questions.
There was slight fading occasionally
which is to be expected with low elevation,
but it did not affect the signals too much audio-wise.
I was very pleased to have the contacts with everyone
there. 73 + 88 de Gerald GW8TIX

@CT2HUU Hi Bruno, yes you can do it that way with multiple receivers. But it does get a little complex to operate the system + constraints on your computer system etc. ;o).
I normally just use the one extra receiver window so it's possible to zoom in to the activity. 73 de Gerald

@Col865 Nice video, just a suggestion, on sdr Console you can have 2 receivers at the same time. So you can use one to always receive de DX station and the other to listen how is calling. 😉 Enjoy and 73

Finally HP86 this evening. It’s first ever QO-100 activation. Over 3 hours of hard driving from last grid point but worth it just for the beautiful landscapes. Then, a very pleasant end to the day …a perfect place to be QRV in. #gopro_dashcam #qo100 #AmateurRadio

Flying back to Paris tomorrow… the end of the double African rove. All went according to the plan and schedule. With no equipment failures, no accidents and no serious illness. Nicely Nicely👍 A little beer action tonight🍺 Will LOTW (both D4VMJ and S9VMJ) in following days.

RAIN: It’s the bane of my roving life. Big storms last night and it pelted down outside …and inside! I arrived just in time to save my sat gear from flood damage during the deluge. T’was an interesting night. Will need to rethink HK75, as the mountain roads will be a bit iffy after these downpours. May have to drive 45km around the long coastal road, instead of just 6km north to enter this new grid. #qo100 #hamradio

Scouting for a nearby spot in HK75 this morning, to activate it tomorrow. The clouds don’t make it easy, for want of not seeing if there is any great big hillock blocking visibility of QO-100. Hopefully it won’t rain overnight and cause more rock/mud/tree slides to block the route. Fingers crossed 🤞.

Glad to report I’m 90% better after an ‘unpleasant’ few days. A big thanks to TAP staff for making my trip home much more comfortable during my ‘delicate’ state @CT2HUU 🙏 Last operating day was cut short by bad weather. Apologies for missing anyone… it was not possible to operate in the evening hours. 73
