@GORETEXeu @SalomonSports She spoke with the Customer Service team and said the damage was her fault when it's a crack fault of the shoe not a cut from use. Not heavily used, regularly cleaned and rewaterproofed. We expected more from Goretex.

@ColonHyphen For in 'in the field' repair the options are to make a 'sleeve' or 'splint' over the fault. Sleeve is best, covering the area with another tube then tape into place. Splint is a more likely solution: Straighten a tent peg and tape / tie tightly over the damaged area.
