I've taken some time to really think about this before sharing. Huge congrats to @tplr_ai While yes it is true that the frontier models now have trillions of parameters, its still incredibly impressive, and I believe Templar will catch up to its centralized counterparties. The most incredible part about this pre-training run is that anyone can join from around the world, BUT that anyone could also exit at any time without ruining the result. This is the future of DeAI. Only on Bittensor.

We just completed the largest decentralised LLM pre-training run in history: Covenant-72B. Permissionless, on Bittensor subnet 3. 72B parameters. ~1.1T tokens. Commodity internet. No centralized cluster. No whitelist. Anyone with GPUs could join or leave freely. 1/n
