I come with a goal of changing what UI looks like and what UX feels like in crypto. I'm not sure about when it's going to happen or how I'm going to get these jobs but for sure I'm going to do it. One team, one protocol, one app at a time. Already provided detailed feedback and suggestions to @TotoTurtlesNFT for their Tuffy AI webapp and although team hasn't gone live publicly yet, I hope they do so eventually and I'll keep providing advice till they launch.

I've always said it and will always say it, crypto has a very huge UI/UX problem but no one is really talking about it surprisingly. Coming as a Web2 dev into Web 3, the deficiency was and remains very glaring and in my opinion it remains one of the biggest issue in onboarding normies.

if youre ever confused by a transaction or account on solana, put it into orb and click the AI button it will explain everything it took AGI but Solana explorers are now easy to use

Begs the question...what really is the root cause? What did we stop doing right? What did we start doing wrong? What are we not doing in general. Look I know there's always been Defi and smart contract exploits but this much and it's only just March?

This Nomba site thing is genuinely baffling. All these faults are only noticeable to you “experts”. Yes, the design principles are valid and should be adhered to. But the base of design has and should always be functionality. Nobody is saying don’t be excellent in YOUR own work. But quite frankly on this matter you’re obsessing on the wrong things. It feels like mean spirited bullying, and that’s why I will fight you people on it. Both owner and customers have repeatedly said they don’t have an issue with this matter. Same funny behavior we’ve seen with designers on here redesigning peoples logos and products. Who sent you? If I say you should go build your own brand and design how you want now, they will call me agbaya. “It’s vibe-coded”, “It’s lazy”, “They could have done more”… the whole essence of AI tools is free you up to use your brain on your actual work. They are a fintech, not a graphics studio. I even saw the former designer comment under. Do you think it’s the business they were operating in 2023 they still do today? Why would they use the same site? - As an aside, the best founders build their solutions quickly and focus on distribution. This discuss just reminds me that people obsess too much on what wont be the decider.

Bulk: - increases solana AUM, rev, users, wallets, transactions - provides deep integration with solana eco; eg will be able to borrow against your positions using @kamino - increases SOL staking APY - increases validator rewards, incentivizing more to come on and greater decentralization More strategically for Solana, having a Tier 1 perps product reduces dollar flight to Hyperliquid Bulk is genuinely a fantastic product and has many benefits over other perps products, including superior margining logic But dont take my word for it, give testnet a try: bulk.trade Disclaimer: I’m an investor

Someone finally spoke my mind. Likely why are we obsessing this much about the engineering design. UX and ease of use would win any day and no one or maybe most people don't really care at the end of the day if it just works!! This discourse being a year after HL is more funny.

talk on solana perps is weirdly mid curve the validator client, the scheduler, and microstructure are 90% of the focus but those, even if executed perfectly (they won't be) are entirely insufficient HL is already the leader to compete, you can't just match what exists, you need to be at least 5x better on a set of dimensions that matter for the end user while also catching up on distribution the non-academic problems are much, much harder to solve for than geeking out on engineering design
