Tips from an airline pilot: Don’t crowd the entrance at the gate. Board with your zone, otherwise it slows everything down. Likewise, when you get to your seat, move into your row to stow your bags. Again, it slows everything down if you don’t, especially for those sitting in the back. Don’t drink the water or coffee. The water tanks only get cleaned out occasionally. Bring your water and coffee onboard. The tones you hear are just the crew communicating with each other. Use your AirPods or headphones as much as you can. It’ll make the flight infinitely quieter. Exit rows can be a great seat with extra legroom but not all exit rows are created equal. The rows immediately adjacent to the emergency exits on most jets don’t recline. Turbulence is normal, expected, completely safe, and all aircraft are built for it. It’s not in any way, shape, or form, dangerous. It may be uncomfortable but that’s the worst that can happen. Aircraft malfunctions and emergencies happen from time to time. Trust me, the crews have been trained ad infinitum on it all. Over and over again. Bottom line, we want to get home to our families and friends too. Any questions? Pilots want to get home too….

@CardPurchaser what do eBay sellers do when someone files an item not received? It was a $3 card with $1.32 shipping. Last scan was a week ago at my local sort center. eBay withheld the money. Wait for them to refund or do I wait a few more days and refund if he doesn’t get it?

I am convinced 90% of BIN sales on EBay are fake comps and people should know @CardPurchaser Auctions are the true value-just look at newer #’d cards and you will see /49 or less sell but somehow same ones /99 or higher the BIN IS DOUBLE. So make sure to check different variations especially those with few recent sales.

@JustinOnslow @CardPurchaser This does happen. USPS is horrible about scanning. I do know the seller will get a notification when the item has been authenticated. Not sure if the buyer gets one

Ordered a card on eBay Sunday that needs to go to authentication. Seller created the label and said they dropped it off at the post office on Monday. It’s Friday and hasn’t been scanned by USPS (still says label created). Anyone else ever have this experience? @CardPurchaser

A tale of a pet peeve: Card gets graded by PSA. I send it to be sold through PSA on eBay. It’s a Pop 1 Bowman Auto with no comps. Buyer wins auction and I will be paid when they pay in ~7 days. Buyer doesn’t pay. Needs to be auctioned all over again. 😕 @CardPurchaser

@thecardnurse716 @CardPurchaser Hopefully you got the extra insurance for the shipment. If you did, just have the buyer take a bunch of photos of the damaged package and then submit a claim with the usps or the insurance company. You can use the packing slip as proof of value.
