Graham Platner isn’t just our best and only chance to beat Susan Collins, he’s a good, decent man who’s struggled and grown and is always trying to do better. I hope everyone with reservations takes a little time to get to know the real life version of him, not what the algorithm throws in our faces. Clearly, that’s what so many people in Maine have done - from all different walks of life and political persuasions.

The actual derangement is the people who don’t realize Obama is broadly popular, well-liked, and remembered fondly and was extremely popular on the day he left office as well.

The reality of ballroom politics is
1.) Trump didn't go through the proper channels, and while that may not seem like a big deal, it's a reminder to voters that he only cares about himself, so it reinforces the idea that this is a vanity project.
2.) Now is not the time. The economy sucks
3.) Saying it's "privately funded" makes it look corrupt. Like, what are the funders getting for funding it?

I think the story of the SVB crash and rescue remains undercovered.
I also have noticed a lot of folks seem to think it was a mistake to save SVB, which I regard as crazy but I guess when your politics is just about hating tech cutting off your nose to spite your face is fine.

Good. Free speech and academic freedom require precisely this. It also requires we extend the same principle to faculty and students who invite IDF soldiers and Israeli cabinet officials. That's life when your university is in a liberal democracy.

A truism of social media power users is that we’re all together all the time but often lonely due to our interactions being intermediated by screens.

Jewish people are the most targeted religious community in the United States, and anti-semitism is rising left, right and center.
That's why today, I met community leaders from the @ADL from Temple Israel in Michigan and across the country. These leaders have survived violence and hate of the worst kind, up close and personal. And they were here to fight for more security funding through the non-profit security grant program.
I was able to get Secretary Mullin to commit to investing more into this program earlier this year, but the job is not done. I appreciate these leaders making their voices heard, and working to protect Jewish communities from the threat of violence.
