For months I've had planned to make an important announcement on this day today.
But after much deliberation since morning, I've come to the decision to prank myself, and not make the announcement. Today.
Happy April Fools day to me, myself and @BreakerSpaceHQ

@BrianRoemmele "100x increase in production and testing"
LOL, nope.
English

No no... you guys don't understand.
This is THE "hello world" of time travel.

There's a sudden surge of IQ-bait automated content accounts in X.
First, "high" is not an IQ score. You only need about 2σ (i.e. 115-130) IQ to solve these problems, which is smart, but not that "high".
But the engagement is insane... are smart people still THAT easy a pray?

If you solve this, your IQ is high 🔥 What should come instead of ?

Damn, not quite rank 420 yet... the grind continues!

Soumya Deb@Debloper
Phew... only took 7 years of grinding! Should be within global top 500 by rank, once the leaderboard refreshes.

Vibe coded conferencing 😂
We moved out of Riverside to give it a try, and then ended up having rest of the chat in it.
It's not quite what @kaustavdm wants to make it to be yet... but to me it seemed pretty capable tool for what essentially is a "version zero" of a prototype.

If you're thinking "heh, even I could make it if I tried" you're right... and I've made absolutely sure that you can follow along without needing to reinvent the wheels: github.com/debloper/exoco…

Meet Marci, the stage one of @debloper's exocortex (codename: Project Manas).

@BreakerSpaceHQ SPOILER ALERT: the next stage is called "Moneo" (WIP)
Take a guess what does it do? 😉

@anujdeshpandey @makerville_io That's refreshingly future facing and sensible.
Looking forward to it!
English

I thought about this
Given the future we are heading in, I’d rather us have bot with context about the channels and people rather than have organized text designed for humans
The human centric design of forums feels dead now
I’m wondering how best to expose discussions and the Makerville hive mind to people AND their Claudes
English

Tariffs, shipping costs and manufacturing ops - can often be too much to handle for an indie developer
Which is why I’m super excited to see how bunzee-labs.com turns out
Buy the designs, get it manufactured from your local PCBA shop - could be JLC too if the shipping to your country is subsidized
Great hardware designers are everywhere and we need simpler distribution for their products

@anujdeshpandey @makerville_io A migration is perhaps not necessary. There's utility in real-time async chat that Telegram provides. A forum could be supplementary, in addition to the telegram community.
@Vicharak_In has a similar setup, where the forum keeps discussions for references, and discord for chats.

Thanks for the feedback! This helps
- It’s a pain to migrate. I wouldn’t do it unless telegram changes their policies to something draconian
- when you move, you lose a lot of context and users. So a better platform doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a good idea to move
What would help with making things simpler?
- We have a Makerville bot which does things like reverse search links so that you know if something was already discussed.
- I used to do weekly summaries of discussions/links and the bot is helping me with that again. See blog.makerville.io for some older examples
I think that helps people catch up
- I could add a function where you could chat with the bot and it helps you post or digest the content in a way that works for you - but this probably costs ₹₹
