@justdavenow89 Most left-wing positions now consist of them pretending they don't understand simple things. Anyone who lives peacefully, respects our laws, our culture and our traditions is safe and welcome to stay. If you can't, you leave. This is not unreasonable or difficult to grasp.

Liverpool, don’t wake up to a Reform UK council next May. Labour in Liverpool supports our LGBTQ+ community all year round, not just for pride. We need everyone to stand up for our community against this campaign of erasure 🏳️‍🌈 🏳️‍⚧️ #LGBT #Liverpool @LiverpoolLabour

LGBT+ people deserve to be able to live freely and safely. I don't believe the EHRC's guidance is helping to make that possible. My statement on why I've signed EDM 240 to stand up for trans people in my constituency and across the UK.

This is overreach by Sex Matters. Users are the womens ponds overwhelmingly support trans women using the ponds, yet Forstater wants to bully them into submission. It’s insidious and alarming at the power she thinks she has.
Maya Forstater@MForstater

The City of London is defying the Supreme Court in pledging to carry on with allowing men into the women's bathing pond. Which men? City bosses say they will leave that to the "common sense" of frontline staff. Lawful...? We'll see them in court in November.

@AnonInclusive @PompeySteph @akuareindorf The inclusion you want excludes women. Women who withdraw from a service because it’s not single sex. How many no longer play their sport because there was a male in the women’s team? Women have lost jobs and been banned from services when they question it so many just withdraw.

@JenniferB812 Some of we male homosexuals date transwomen; I include myself in that. The reason we do so is because we instinctively recognise, and accept, TW as our fellow males. Being told that they are not actually men undermines the notion of same-sex attraction.

Transgender women are women. Transgender men are men. No one or law can ever take that away. They maybe be nasty and abhorrent and say horrible things but your identity, who you are is just as valid as everyone else. Be who you are be proud and show the world you belong. 🏳️‍⚧️

@labourlewis One should bear in mind that the situation with the Hampstead ponds is the very opposite of inclusive. Allowing men (even unorthodox ones), unfettered access to previously female spaces is a hard-right ideology dressed up as progressivism.

Everyone deserves to feel safe in public life. But the growing threat of legal action against trans‑inclusive organisations risks silencing the very groups working to make that possible. I’ve raised this urgently with the Culture Secretary, pressing for clarity on how the Government will support inclusive organisations in this uncertain climate.

If trans women aren't allowed in women's spaces and trans men aren't allowed in men's spaces, then how come straight ppl are allowed in gay bars? 🤔

@LilithGMarshell @PulaRJS We continue as we always have, then? Biological & trans women use the 'Ladies' as always; biological men & trans men use the gents as always. So what has the hysteria been about?

The new guidance from the EHRA brings a sledge hammer to the complex area of single sex spaces. As the EHRC acknowledges – it’s impossible to know what “biological” sex someone is. Even if toilet police were to start inspecting people – what would an inspection of someone who has medically transitioned reveal? "Concerns raised by other service users" will be a key factor in determining whether the owners of facilities should approach people to ask their gender. This should be done "sensitively". If anyone can explain how you approach a woman in public toilets and ask "do you have or have you ever had a penis” sensitively I’m all ears. I may be missing something here. But I don’t see how this is anything other than a charter for toilet vigilantes to hound, not just trans people, but any woman who fails to conform to conventional ideas of femininity. novaramedia.com/2026/05/29/tra…

@PulaRJS I disagree regarding the supposed impossibility of knowing someone’s biological sex; it seems to be at odds with the experience of every person ever. I think we can dependably rely on intuition and instincts, rather than wasting time on risqué questions.

The ONLY solution to this is to make transphobia, AKA Gender Critical views, criminal. Other countries have already done this. Switzerland, Norway, Brazil and more. It's time for the UK to stand up and join them.
Démi@SnifflyPanda

The anti-trans movement is encouraging & providing a framework for a new wave of vexatious lawfare. They're hoping to bully people into compliance through a human wave of unreasonable litigation. This is for the express purpose of legally normalising their eradicationist views

The “too many men crossing the Channel” argument raises an interesting question: If tomorrow the boats were full of women and children, would critics say “fair enough”? Or is gender being used as a proxy for a wider anti-immigration argument?
