This month is my job anniversary - 6 years since I've left academia and started to work as an account manager, selling analytical equipment to professors at universities. Leaving academia was very scary, but I couldn't be happier where I am now!

Remembering my dad today, who passed away last night, only a few weeks after learning he had advanced cancer. 😢In early June, he was still walking several miles per day at age 78. 😟 His death was sudden and unexpected, and I am so sad. 😭
