My opinion is that Mythos is the current best model but not actually some world-changing dangerous model, and that anthropic did their usual song and dance about safety largely because they didn’t have enough compute to serve it at scale So then they launched Fable because they still have to think about the IPO, but they are still somewhat compute limited so they put all sorts of restrictions on it Around the same time, because they are trying to get regulatory capture and not because things are actually dangerous, Dario did more scaremongering and published his honestly confusing white paper that offered no real solutions So finally they succeeded, they managed to freak out the government, their cynical plan backfired, and now it’s a giant pain in the ass

@orcdev They also refunded only $100 out of $200 to me. I had upgraded from the $100 5X plan. I am still $100 short and on top of that, the whole subscription is gone, it's like a joke

Anthropic is making a ton of money from this ban, right? So many people signed up just to use Fable over the past week, and now Anthropic gets the subscription income without having to spend on the inference at all.

I’ve had a number of conversations with folks inside and outside government about the current situation with Anthropic, and here is what I believe to be true: — As we know, Anthropic publicly released its Mythos class models earlier this week under the commercial name Fable. — Fable is Mythos with guardrails. But if those guardrails fail, then you’ve exposed Mythos and its advanced cyber capabilities to people who shouldn’t have them. (Keep in mind that Anthropic itself widely promoted the idea that Mythos was a cyberweapon and needed to be regulated as such. They asked for government regulation of Mythos and championed the guardrails on Fable. If there is a vulnerability — big or small — it is Anthropic’s responsibility to patch.) — A highly credible trusted partner of both Anthropic and the USG who was testing Fable came forward with a jailbreak of those guardrails. The Admin asked Dario to fix the jailbreak or de-deploy the model. Dario refused. — In their blog post, Anthropic defended its decision by saying the jailbreak isn’t serious. That is not what the trusted partner and the USG believe; nor is that kind of minimizing language consistent with Anthropic’s brand as the AI safety company. It’s difficult to fathom how they could claim a jailbreak allowing operability of a cyber weapon could be defined as not “serious.” — In the past, Anthropic has always said that safety must be top priority and taken super seriously. In this case, Anthropic prioritized the continued offering of the consumer model over safety. — In reaction, the Admin issued the export control. The Admin did this reluctantly. It’s been very surprised that Anthropic hasn’t wanted to cooperate with a reasonable safety request (ie fixing the jailbreak issue). Anthropic’s reaction is very much at odds with their branding and ethos as a safe AI research community. — The Admin’s hope now is that Anthropic remediates the safety issue, the export control is lifted, and Fable goes back into general release. The Admin wants all of this to happen as soon as possible. It is frankly bewildered that Anthropic hasn’t wanted to comply with safety requests that it previously said were its highest priority. — Those trying to misdirect and tie this action to the prior DoW/Anthropic issues are wrong. The Admin values Anthropic’s technical capabilities and feels that this issue, while serious, should be easily resolved. The ball is in Anthropic’s court.

BPC-157 has a 100% hit rate across every tissue tested. Nothing else comes close. Not most. Not some. Every one. → severed nerves — REGREW → torn ligaments — REBUILT (oral worked) → detached tendons — REATTACHED → punctured cornea — SEALED → destroyed liver — REVERSED → shredded gut — REPAIRED → bone defects — CLOSED (matched grafts) → stopped heart — RESTORED → Parkinson’s — REVERSED → crushed spinal cord — RECOVERY at 360 days 15 amino acids. Found in your own stomach juice. Your body makes it — just not enough to fix old damage. One repair system: blood vessel growth, collagen production, inflammation reduction. Universal across tissues. That’s why one peptide works everywhere. No lethal dose in 30 years. WADA banned it. FDA is now reconsidering it. Your doctor never mentioned it. Your stomach has been making it your entire life. I take it daily. Source in the comments ↓

Fable = short, fictional story. What if Fable getting banned after 72 hours was the plan all along? Whoever named it obviously had the inside scoop and it was too good to be true 👀

Were they using the product? Did you incur any costs? Probably worth emailing and offer to refund if they cancel the disputes. Happened to me and won the oldest out of 3 disputes like that but submitted logs and emails from customer saying they wanted to cancel only in the last month, and me replying that I’ll cancel and refund but they still disputed it.
