La @opsoms estima que el uso correcto del #casco puede disminuir en más de un 40% el riesgo de muerte de motociclistas y pasajeros, así como un 70% el riesgo de sufrir lesiones graves. El casco es como una vacuna, como bien dijo hoy @GreigCraft, fundador de una organización que estableció una empresa social sin fines de lucro en Vietnam -donde hay de 50 a 60 millones de motocicletas- para producir cascos certificados a bajo costo, un modelo del que podemos aprender en México para hacer valer el derecho a la #movilidad con #seguridadvial. Agradezco al @ITDPmx la iniciativa para abrir esta conversación, al secretario de Movilidad del EdoMex, @DanielSibaja_ por sumarse, así como al diputado @HugoLunaV, al senador @EmmanuelReyesC, al sector privado y a organizaciones de la sociedad civil.
