Saturday my dad passed away unexpectedly. When I arrived, he was only being kept alive by machines, and later that day they turned them off. My heart is broken—I don’t have a dad anymore. 💔 I’m grateful I could say goodbye, even if he probably couldn’t hear me anymore. 🥺😭

@podricksbutt At my age, I just have to play something else for a week or two and most of my memories have washed away like tears in the rain... One of the few advantages to being an older gamer.

I honestly sometimes just wish I could wipe all the memories I have of playing Alan Wake 2 & play it like new 😭😭😭 what an insanely good game that was

This is why I do what I do. To make sure indie devs finally get seen. The negativity in the replies doesn't matter. What matters is helping you. If I have to take on every troll under the bridge, I'll do it all day long. I'm fighting for every indie dev out there.

@MalPlayingGames And make sure you get the stabiliser/steroids (I forgot which one increases max health ngl) as you can use it for a free heal and it doesn’t disqualify you from the challenge

I never thought I’d cave in and try to platinum an RE game but Requiem’s is probably the easiest now I’ve observed the list better. I’ve restarted another playthrough but keep getting paranoid if I’ve accidentally used a med injector or if the game auto healed 💀

The Fearzine staff is having a mini debate. If you had a device that could mimic in-game smells, would you use it for horror games? Really think about aromatic horror scenes/settings, like the Baker house in RE7.

[Ad/Invite] Dreamhack was a hell of a ride! I learnt a lot about myself this weekend in terms of who I am as a creator and where I fit in, in all of this madness. I’m always now and forever, for the people. It’s the main draw of going to these events, meeting new people, catching up with old friends, and if I’m lucky, getting to see and experience some cool things in the gaming space. The UK has desperately needed an event like Dreamhack to make all this happen as the scene felt like it was dying. Dreamhack has brought that feeling back in spades, showcasing off some excellent gaming stuff and things, while giving everyone an opportunity to network and hang. I couldn’t have asked for a better time at an event, and I can’t wait for the next one. Thank you @DreamHack and @xboxuk for the invite down. What a great experience! @highkeydracula Yep; I liked it a lot. Gonna need to try and find time to play/replay the original PS1 titles before this comes in. First one never came out in the UK so never got to play it back in the day.

PARASITE MUTANT IS AMAZING AND IS THE PERFECT SPIRITUAL SUCCESSOR TO PARASITE EVE. I can't wait for the full game to release because this was a lot of fun and very reminiscent of PE. The "remake" the og deserves resides here. 🖤🙂‍↕️
