@thefemtrooper It was a proper difficulty spike. I managed it in the end but it was definitely a case of stubbornness over enjoyment.

So I got to the final boss in Under the Island and it is INSANE. It’s just way too hard for me so unfortunately, I will be dropping the game as there is no way I can do it. I’m really bummed as the game is actually quite good and I enjoyed it up until that point! A real shame!

The EU/AUS Switch version will launch on May 29th!
The 1.4 update (ngp, dev commentary and Nightmare mode) will hit PC versions first sometime this week or next.

@ItsToriGalvin @CainhurstUmi I platinumed it on PS4 when supervising an undergraduate dissertation on its use of Gothic influences (proving I wasn't too old to my student!) but the lure of a better frame rate is enticing for a replay.

@jennmint It was fun. I would have liked the second cloning to have been someone huge like Omos or Royce Keys (for the contrast effect) but it was a great change of pace from the serious wrestling of the rest of the card.

Normalise admitting gaps - there's so many amazing titles it's impossible to play them all even within a genre so if your taste is eclectic then just enjoy what you do. If you really want to play a 'classic you'll find time somewhen.

So I’ve played a lot of games in my time, tons of rpgs and horrors and gems like LA Noire, Heavy Rain, Monkey Island, Borderlands and a 100 more I won’t list etc. However there’s Games in my steam library I haven’t played yet that will probably make you gasp (I will stream them all eventually): 1. Red dead redemption 1 and 2 (I played a small amount of no. 2 yearsss ago, loved it, but then my ex and I split up and I was in depresso espresso for a while). 2. Dishonoured series 3. Far Cry series 4. Devil May Cry series 5. Bioshock series (played tiny amount of 1 as a kid and got scared like a muppet) 6. Metal Gear series 7. GTA series (except for 3) 8. Batman games 9. Half Life 10. Divinity Original Sin series 11. Morrowind (played OG oblivion and skyrim) 12. FEAR 13. Final fantasy series (only played 10 and 12) 14. Hitman world of assassination (played codename 47, Absolution and Blood money tho) 15. Hollow Knight 16. Horizon Zero Dawn (a tiny amount, stopped again due to ex breakup) 17. Last of Us 2 (played 1) 18. Left 4 dead 1 and 2 ( I have played many other zombie games tho!) 19. Mafia series 20. Spiderman series 21. Metro exodus series 22. Stalker series 23. Nier series 24. Wolfenstein series 25. Jedi fallen order series 26. Knights of the old republic (I played a small amount a long time ago, have no idea why I stopped but need to get back in as I loved it) 27. Thief 28. Tomb Raider (new and old except for a small amount of 1996 on pc) 29. Undertale And many more that are smaller titles. 😭

Median playtime for Forbidden Solitaire = 4hrs 23mins. The game is about 4-6hrs long and quite a lot of people play it multiple times. Plus we have an update coming to extend playtime for those who want it.
