@TheMorrisCenter Best decision, Son @ 1% in many areas, after NOW! reads <2 grade levels above with 98% accuracy. Identified late in 7th grade, remediated just before 9th HS started. #Dyslexia #DyslexiaScience Remediate then you no longer have to accommodate!

Every time I look at the Alabama Education Report Card, I find myself asking more questions about what the numbers tell us and wondering whose responsibility it is to move the numbers to improve outcomes and opportunities for Alabama’s children.

Yes!! I met a P(mom) yesterday w/their CONFIRMED #Dyslexia Gr1 kid. P had been asking for a yr. Summer tutoring w/Gr1 T did NOT work. T had no clue why it was not working. 😢@RepTerriCollins @SenatorAOrr @CouncilAlabama @BellStephanies @CynthiaSMcCarty @ALSDEdotEDU @ARIALSDE

❤️Yes, let’s do this! The science of reading is based upon brain research on how children learn. fMRI data gives us the answer. ‼️ We know better and shame on us if we don’t choose to do better. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ We can’t expect different results doing the same old things.
