any oomf who’d like to try to beat it? My optimal lap would be a sub 1:30, as with just a better first sector I could’ve gained about 80 thousands (so a 1:29.980)

I know Im a bit late to the party, but here’s my attempt at beating Esteban Ocon’s Suzuka lap on GT7 with the SF23 I did a 1:30.061, his lap was a 1:30.869 I think, so an improvement of possibly over 8 tenths. My onboard and side-by-side comparison, and under this, my telemetry!

McLaren's start to #F1 2026 feels very similar to 2023...perhaps even worse? The MCL40 is a fussy beast. It and Ferrari's "tomato rules" with Lewis/Charles, Haas nailing the #Formula1 season AND Aston Martin completing more race laps than McL just adds to the pain. #FormulaOne
