One of the things I constantly tell my students is: Document your learning journey. Not because it looks good. Not because everyone is doing it. But because opportunities are watching. A student in our ongoing Virtual Assistant training @remotetech__ Academy secured an internship opportunity through LinkedIn simply by sharing her learning journey consistently. She wasn’t posting because she knew an opportunity would come. She was posting because she was learning, growing, and applying what she was being taught. Someone noticed. That’s how visibility works. Many people are learning valuable skills in silence and wondering why opportunities aren’t coming. Meanwhile, someone else is sharing their progress, lessons, projects, and wins, and getting noticed. You don’t need to be an expert before you start posting. Randomly popping out looking pretty after hiding for months is my favorite thing to do.

Since I turned 25 and hit second puberty, I find myself crying over the littlest things. A butterfly could pass and I’d be moved to tears. It’s both very annoying and pleasing to me how easily my emotions rise. I also probably have a lot of pent up anger in yet to dispel but who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️

I couldn’t even bring myself to set new goals for this month. I still have things on my list from January. I try to be realistic with myself, but what happens to the goals that were never achieved? Do they just disappear with the month?

I’ve been pretty quiet on here for the past week. Unfortunately, I got hit with a ghost ban again, so stepping away from the app felt like the best thing to do instead of forcing it. Not gonna lie, I missed being here. I missed the conversations, the jokes, the tech discussions, and interacting with some amazing mutuals I’ve met on this app. A week away made me realize that what keeps me coming back isn’t the algorithm, it’s the people. This week's Airtable project looked straightforward on the surface. Import a file. Assign field types. Create two formula fields. Simple enough, right? Not quite. Because the real work was understanding WHY each field type matters before assigning it. Multiple field types. Two formula fields I had to research myself. First Name extracted from Full Name. Total Amount calculated from Unit Price and Quantity. No formulas were given. That was the point. Because in real work, nobody hands you the answer. You figure it out. Thank you @FikeDove and @wittyautomation for training that actually stretches you.
