We are so very pleased to get the news that GCU Debater Daud Ali Kharal has been selected in Pakistan’s National Debate Team for the session 2023-24. Congratulations 🎉 Mr Daud Ali will be representing Pakistan at different prestigious international debating competitions like the World School Style Debating Championship 2023 in Vietnam and Asians School Style Debating Championship 2023 in Thailand. Pakistan’s Debate Team is formed and coached by the ‘Debating Society of Pakistan’, an organization that has been working for the promulgation and betterment of debating culture in Pakistan at the School/College level since the last two decades. Being a member of Pakistan’s Debate Team is a matter of great prestige as the only the most exceptional skilled cadre of debaters get this opportunity. What makes this achievement more special is the fact that this marks the first time in 26 years that a Ravian has made it to Pakistan’s Debate Team. Our heartiest congratulations to Mr. Daud Ali Kharal, as entire GCU community wishes him the very best of luck!
