It is with a heavy heart that I write this. I have just learned of the passing of Stanley Batten. You may remember I asked people for financial help towards a last holiday then Birthday cards for his Birthday. I have been asked by the family to thank you again for your generosity and those of you that sent cards, thank you so much. I am sure you will join me in wishing sincere condolences to his family. RIP Stanley.

It's a disciplinary ban so different to say a red card. I understood it on a cursory glance, so I don't think there is any real mitigation for getting it wrong tbh.
