What’s it called when people agree with something just because they like the person who’s saying it?

Trent Alexander-Arnold plays right-back for Real Madrid. Started home and away against Manchester City. He won the Premier League and Champions League at right-back with Liverpool. He’s used to dealing with pressure. He’s taken a decisive tournament penalty. He’s played in the World Cup before. He has occasional defensive deficiencies but he brings a long-range passing skill that few possess. Are England that blessed at right-back that they don’t need Alexander-Arnold? That he isn’t amongst the best 30 outfield players available to Thomas Tuchel?

@is_glasgow Delivered the papers to those buildings every morning for 3 years. If memory serves I'm sure the Maths Dept and McLean Institute were in that block...and at the bottom was the Queen Margaret Union and down to the left was the Boyd Orr building.

Aberdeen FC can this morning confirm the departure of first team coach Peter Leven. Following a full review of the coaching structure, and with paperwork now officially complete, a restructuring means Peter will move on from his role. Everyone at the Club wishes Peter nothing but the best in his future career. 🔗 bit.ly/40KGgoZ

@Nigel_Farage Meanwhile, you'll bankrupt the country when you; 1. Shred the EU trade deal (worth £380 billion) 2. Scrap NET Zero (worth £83 billion) 3. Scrap working from home & force people to work from offices, costing workers 1000s of pounds in travel costs. Vote Reform get DISASTER!

@The3rdFrame @Stephen4_2 What a day that was. Being a Celtic fan from Edinburgh meant one holy carnival of a journey home. We took the bus along Gorgie Rd and then Princes Street. Well they were expecting a bus parade, so it would have been a wee shame to let them down! 😊

Tommy Burns scores in the 4-4 draw with Rangers at Ibrox on 22 March 1986. Hard to believe that's now 40 years past.

So many watershed moments, but only one can be the greatest. We're asking you to choose the most iconic goal scored by the Scotland men's national team. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 ⚽️ First up... David Narey v Brazil in 1982? Or Kenny Dalglish v Wales in 1977? #BBCFootball Vote at the link below ⤵️

Scotland doesn’t need another term of woke virtue signalling from a knackered political class. Reform means business, join us in rejecting the chancers and give us a chance to get Scotland moving 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

@Stephen4_2 Probably one of the coolest, classiest goals ever scored by a Celt at Ibrox.

@Stephen4_2 At one stage it looked like we were going to give them the Mother of all doings. In the end we were relieved to get a draw. One mental crazy game.

@wideawake_media So the government is "under orders to destroy the country"...from who? And why? I suspect Le Tissier will not answer this.

English football legend Matt Le Tissier thinks the UK government is under orders to deliberately destroy the UK. "If they destroy the country enough, there'll be people begging for help from their government... That's probably when you'll see initiatives like the central bank digital currencies being thrust upon the population as the way to save us." "People won't accept those kinds of things under normal circumstances. Yet in times of emergencies, people will accept all sorts of nonsense. As we saw in 2020." Credit: @mattletiss7 @robprogressive

@wideawake_media The problem with Le Tissier is when he is challenged on his views, he just blocks people. So even if he is right (rare), he appears weak because he can't discuss the possibility that he may be wrong. He's a my way or the highway snowflake.
