@ColinRA92 I think US sports have so many breaks/ time outs etc that they have to fill in the time doing something. Whilst footy doesn’t even want the hydro breaks

Shoutout to the BBC commentary team straight-up calling out the American broadcasters ridiculous cutting to “celebrities” every 2 minutes. Well done lads.

Congratulations to Scotland. They maybe the only nation on Earth to be completely drunk today but you have to hand it to them. They have the best national anthem bar none.

Soccer is not the most popular sport in the USA. Not even top 3. True. However, no country in the world loves sports more than the USA. You could have a cricket tournament here and people will still show up😂

The only reason why the US doesn’t win every World Cup is because our best athletes choose football, baseball, basketball, and hockey over soccer It’s like we are sending our 5th string up against everyone else’s best

@wayneleedsfan They can’t generate atmosphere or create any chants in their own sports . So think other nations want it as well

Why are Americans obsessed with playing music at any opportunity during the match. Pack it in.

@CartyScorsese US networks feeds seem to be fixated on celebrity spotting. I suppose their Sports have so many breaks they feel the need to fill the boredom

@mamboitaliano__ The same is true for any college football game in the fall, any MLB baseball game, or NFL game in America. Any sporting event in America, for that matter. Plus, all of them are more fun to watch than soccer. Remember, there is nothing more exciting than a Nil-Nil tie.

Let’s be real 🔥⚽️ Every World Cup, sneaky crowd shots steal the show, highlighting the beauty of fans worldwide! Guys, time to vote: France, Brazil, Spain, Germany, Colombia, Argentina… or? Shame Italy isn’t there 🇮🇹

@coutixszn The US stadia are big and nice to look at ,but this is about aura , history and atmosphere. US sports need the atmosphere artificially generated. Don’t need that at a Footy game. Also same for tennis, top guys much prefer RG or Wimbledon over FM, even tho FM is bigger

Crystal Palace star Brennan Johnson has started dating OF actress Lily Phillips, who set a world record last December by sleeping with 101 men in 24 hours... Imagine the shame of going home to your parents and having to tell them your partner used to play for Tottenham... 🤣

@BrynLaw Isn’t there a bigger capacity ground that could hold a footy match? For a WC host 44k is small

Really like this stadium in Toronto, it’s a proper football ground. Surprised to see quite a few empty seats though. Could be a good game this.. #CanBiH
