92-93 tops the lot. We spent the most money and lost 5-1 at Coventry. Dumped out of the cup by Bristol City (back when it mattered). United win the league after 26 year wait. 93-94 also abysmal but green shoots towards the end makes 92-93 the winner.

@PhilBlundell Trying to think when I've hated a season as much as this one... 14/15 is the obvious answer but that was more how I felt about the last few games. Didn't have any real expectations. It's probably 2002/03. Hated the cunts. All of them!

📊 Liverpool under Arne Slot The international break seems like a good time to revisit this. In the past two months since the original post, pts/match have been slightly below performance level relative to xG differential. What hasn't changed is that the entire season, Liverpool has operated at about the level of a fringe UCL or solid UEL team - the 5th best in the league. At this point it is just the reality of the situation.

Instead he's over playing players and driving the injury situation into the ground. Playing them out of position. Square pegs. Round holes. It's poor management and I think it affects morale in general.

This is my biggest gripe I think. In spite of the injuries his squad management has been really poor. Why is Allison playing in the FA Cup at Wolves? An opportunity to rest him. He's injured again now. We've had bad luck this season but the manager has compounded it.

@JosephPepper 100% agree. Our midfield is at least two short AND we are routinely using one of the four at right back. There is no reliable backup for our CBs. Same with attack, the only change we can make is bringing a 17 year old on

I accept playing a European Cup knockout game on a Wednesday night & then a 1230 away on Saturday is suboptimal. But this isn’t a performance about exhaustion. Yet again it’s the same mistakes, disorganisation, not tracking runners & a cultural malaise that’s haunting this team.
