We have spent a lot of money very badly in recent years, but now some of the signings are now living up to expectations.

It’s further from the junction of the touchline and halfway line to the goal than it is from the centre spot to the goal. It’s 55 yards from Altena to goal and Muirhead to the corner flag, it’s 65 yards from Muirhead to the goal.

think this is a red tbh - too many people are basing their judgements on the fact Muirhead is slower than a week in Bar L - but that's not actually relevant. He's miles ahead of the 'covering' defender until he gets hauled back

If Leonard doesn’t grab on, then RM has another 5 or 10 yards on the defender due to him not reacting. 2 touches later RM is having a shot at goal🤷🏼‍♂️

The defender hasn’t even reacted when Muirhead takes the touch round Leonard. Clutching at straws big time here. It’s a stick on red card.

@FootyCentralX In the SPIRIT of the game that’s absolutely a red card but we play to laws, not morals. Altena would have engaged with Muirhead at least 25 yards from Hearts goal. It’s not a clear DOGSO for me.

@FootyCentralX You’ve heard of Pythagoras right? Using simple maths, Altena is probably 55 yards in a straight line from from goal. Muirhead is 35 yards to the right on the touchline. That means Muirhead is 65 yards from goal. He’d have to collect the ball and beat Altena to get his shot away.
